WHO CAN PLAY?

Great Neck Athletic Association (GNAA) offers recreational volleyball to youth between the ages of 7 and 18.  We offer Coed volleyball for ages 7 to 9 years old and for ages 14 to 18 years old.  We offer girls volleyball for ages 10 to 18 and boys volleyball for ages 10 to 13. 

We hold two seasons.  Our fall season sign ups are held in July and August, the season starts when school starts and is completed the week before Thanksgiving.  Our spring season sign ups are held in February and March, the season starts in April and is finished the week prior to school finishing. 

DO YOU NEED TO KNOW HOW TO PLAY?

No!  Our recreational volleyball leagues are open to everyone.  No prior playing experience is required.  Our goal is to teach our players the basics of the sport while making sure they have FUN!  We want them to come back and play again. 

Interested in helping? 

We are always looking for help!  From simple and quick things like putting out signs on Great Neck Road during sign ups or handing out uniforms, to a little more involved like COACHING.  We usually have more players than Coaches.  So please help out if you can.  It is a great way to spend time with your child.
